Our Team
Mrs Joshila DeVile
Joshila is a specialist physiotherapist with over 26 years of experience, focusing on cancer rehabilitation and lymphoedema management. She has worked across both the NHS and private practice, supporting people living with and beyond cancer to regain strength, confidence and quality of life.
Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-informed care, with a strong emphasis on translating research into practical, real-world interventions that patients can genuinely benefit from. While working with GenesisCare, Joshila was responsible for embedding research-informed exercise and rehabilitation approaches into routine clinical pathways, helping ensure that emerging evidence directly improved patient care.
Joshila is particularly passionate about exercise as medicine in cancer care — not as a one-size-fits-all solution, but as a personalised, safe and meaningful part of treatment and recovery. She regularly presents at conferences, delivers workshops and hosts webinars for healthcare professionals, charities and patient support groups.
Alongside her clinical work, Joshila is Vice Chair and Learning & Development Officer for the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Oncology and Palliative Care (ACPOPC) and a committee member of the British Society of Integrative Oncology (BSIO).
Outside of work, she enjoys running, climbing mountains, and spending time with her husband, daughters and their dog.
